I needed to collect and synthesize enough user input andinsights to inform the digital product design.

I had time for a few phone and verbal Interviews from my friendsand family. Most of the data collected came from surveying users via GoogleForms that I sent on my social media accounts. I tried to keep my questions open ended exceptwhen collecting demographic information.

Restaurant food are cooked in different ways there are chicken,, chips,,pizza and many more and clients from different places come and eat
It's economical and I get to experiment with different spicies.

After interviewing 5 participants19-25 years of age via social media platforms & this is what I got.
> 50% cook at home
> 50% prefer homemade food
> 33.4% order food online
> 1 complaint on the mobile app delivery
> 83.3% would like to try homemade food ordering
After a thorough research of theexisting homemade food apps in the market today, I found that in Kenya, nohomemade app is currently running.
However the indirect competitors:The Homefoodi app & the Chef app in which were also my sourceof inspiration
The user need an app that help them order homemade food
The user Want a cheap altanertive to cater for their budget needs
The user want a convinent way to track their food.
The user want clean and substantial food
